Douglas Bertram
Douglas is the owner of Structural Elements®. He has been assessing and treating orthopedic disorders for more than fifteen years. He completed a four-year medical program in Traditional Eastern Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California in order to become a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Maryland.
Douglas started his career as a massage therapist and subsequently studied firsthand with the developers of several modalities, including Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy and Neuro-Energetic Release. His extensive training in structural bodywork led him to Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, where he earned his B.A. in Contemplative Psychology. Douglas has practiced in multiple clinical settings throughout the United States, treating alongside Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors.
In addition to his private practice, Douglas is the founder of Structural Elements® Franchising, LLC. When away from the clinic you can find him out on the road training, as he is a 3x Ironman Triathlete and has completed numerous Ultramarathons of 50 and 100-mile distances. Whether you are an elite athlete or suffer from chronic pain, Douglas takes the same great pride in working with all populations.
Dr. Mark Cucuzzella
Dr. Mark Cucuzzella is a Professor from West Virginia University School of Medicine, and a retired Air Force Reserve Lieutenant Colonel. Mark practices Family Medicine at WVU’s Jefferson Medical Center and directs their Cardiovascular and Stress Testing lab. Mark has developed and adopted a protocol for using a low-carb diet for patients with obesity, prediabetes, and type 2 diabetes. Practicing what they preach, the hospital has eliminated all sugar-sweetened beverages from the hospital. Mark was instrumental in bringing MEDCHEFS to the WVU School of Medicine in 2014 with a focus on understanding insulin resistance. An advocate for evidence based policy and education, Mark is a founding member of The Nutrition Coalition, the Low Carb Action Network, The Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners, and The Hypoglycemia Foundation and is a scientific advisor for Diet Doctor.
As an athlete Mark has competed for 40 years achieving a streak of 30 consecutive years running a marathon under 3 hours. He has finished events up to 100 miles.
He lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia where he also owns a small community running store and directs running races and camps for youth and adults. Michael S. Day, MD, MPhil, FAAOS
Dr. Michael Day is a board-certified, sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon practicing in Chambersburg, PA. With over a decade in training and expertise in body mechanics, physiology, and longevity, Dr. Day’s practice focuses on the total care of the athlete.
Dr. Day completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University. He holds a master’s degree from Oxford University. He attended Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery with subspecialty board certification in sports medicine. He is the author of numerous research publications in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
He is currently a member of WellSpan Orthopedic Group, in Chambersburg, PA, part of Wellspan Health. He is a team physician for the Chambersburg Area Senior High School Trojans and Penn State Mont Alto. His clinical interests and expertise include joint preservation, cartilage restoration and ACL reconstruction. His patient-centered approach includes minimizing the use of opioid pain medications to reduce the community’s exposure to these potentially dangerous drugs.
Marissa Feldberg
Marissa is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Rissa Fitness Inc, a private training studio in Chambersburg, PA. She works with private clients of all ages and abilities to improve their fitness and performance. In her spare time, Marissa also competes in drug-tested powerlifting and has qualified and competed at the national level in the 52kg women's division. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, home improvement projects, sewing, reading and taking pictures of her cat.

Kevin Gilmore, PT, DPT
Kevin Gilmore, PT, DPT is a physical therapist located in Chambersburg, PA primarily at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital. Dr. Gilmore is a Certified Concussion Rehabilitation Specialist with a special interest in the Sports Medicine population.
He has experience with all populations. He has worked with several professional, semi-professional, collegiate and high school teams providing both evidence based and innovative rehabilitation with their athletes.
He received his degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Youngstown State University graduating Summa Cum Laude.
In his free time Dr. Gilmore enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. They enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling, sports and most outdoor activities. They currently reside in the Chambersburg area.
Roxanne Gilmore, DPT, ATC
Roxanne was born and raised in Greencastle, PA and continues to reside there with her husband and two sons. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and is a board-certified athletic trainer. She went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. As part of her education, Roxanne spent time providing rehabilitative care as well as preventative health and recovery work for Division I athletes in a variety of settings.
Roxanne is a physical therapist with WellSpan, primarily working in the Greencastle location, with a special interest in sports medicine. She has also spent time outside of the clinic to provide athletic training services to several local high schools. Most recently, Roxanne has become an obstetric specialist, providing care for prenatal and postpartum individuals.
Roxanne has a strong passion for helping people feel better, recover faster, and meet their performance goals. Outside of the clinic, Roxanne enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and spending time in the great outdoors.
